HSE West – St. Conals Campus Office Upgrades

Description:

St. Bernadettes Ward – Office Fit- Out

 

This contract involved the refurbishment and fit-out for offices of an existing vacant floor of the St. Conals Hospital campus, a listed building which forms part of Letterkenny University Hospital.

External works included refurbishment of the existing sliding sash windows, works to the external render, roofs and gutters.

Internal works included the complete fit-out to specification of the old hospital ward, which included demolition of existing walls, removal of old flooring and coverings, suspended ceilings and upgrades to the mechanical and electrical installations of the unit, with an extension to the existing door entry and provision of a fire alarm system. New office suites together with open plan office areas were constructed, together with kitchen areas, toilets, consulting rooms, and a manager’s office. The total floor area of this project extended to 1500m2.

Similarly this contract involved the refurbishment and fit-out for offices of an existing vacant floor of St. Conals Hospital campus, part of Letterkenny University Hospital.

These works were carried out on a tight construction programme, and while the hospital continued to operate demonstrating Dorrian Construction Limited’s ability to manage health and safety and construction programming in busy hospital environments.
